After conducting a research poll, The Chariot received 453 responses from students in seventh through 12th grade. Students were asked for their opinions on drug and alcohol usage, as well as peer pressure here at New Hyde Park. Responses were divided into two groups: underclassmen, which includes seventh graders, eighth graders and freshmen; and upperclassmen, which includes sophomores, juniors and seniors.
